How about that for a manifest? Led by spiky-haired singer Penelope Houston, San Francisco quartet the Avengers recorded this optimistic anthem for the legendary Dangerhouse label back in ´77. It´s my fave out of an excellent first crop of early US westcoast punk singles, beating the Screamers, Crime, Nuns, Weirdos, X and the Germs by a narrow margin.
