I didn't think I would be able to post anything this week, but when our just and true leaders lifted the restriction on songs from this century and said that Bible verses could be considered poems I found myself back in the game.
I bought Welcome Wagon's album because it was produced by Sufjan Stevens. His influence is obvious in every note of every song. (In fact no more than five minutes ago as I played this song before uploading it, my son said, "Is this Sufjan?").
All of the lyrics to this song are from two sections of the book of Malachi in the Old Testament (Chapter 4:2 and Chapter 3:17).
