Advice: The Gambler

Kenny Rogers: The Gambler

[purchase]

"For a taste of your whiskey I'll give you some advice...

You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run.
You never count your money when youre sittin' at the table.
There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealin's done."

Great choice. Kenny's second appearance on the Star Maker Machine.

One of these week's the theme will have to be Cowards of the County so we can post one more.

Now that would be a tough category!

For the record, the Gambler's advice is pretty crappy to be coming from a supposed master. It'd be like if you asked Michael Jordan how to be a great basketball player and he told you to make sure you put the ball through the hoop, or Warren Buffett telling you to buy low and sell high.

Agreed...but the category for this week wasn't just good advice! Lol. And it's a great song!
