Jacques Dutronc: Les cactus
[purchase]
In the pantheon of rock stars with the coolest of swagger, Jacques Dutronc has got to be near the top. This song is one of the true pop masterpieces—utterly flawless.

Theme idea: Songs in a language other than English.
Any others come to mind?
I got plenty...
It's on the list. But not next week. Great song by the way...
Speaking for myself only, I'd be pretty short on non-english tunes. I can think of a Police song that's in french and... well, that's about it. Doesn't mean it's not a good theme though.
I mentioned these to Paul earlier, but how about Songs that mention other artists (e.g., "phony beatlemania has bitten the dust" or "so long frank lloyd wright")
Or songs about food -- or songs with animals in them.
... Just suggestions. There are hundreds of possibilities, probably.
His wife is pretty easy on the eyes.
