Boats: Fisherman

"Row fisherman row, keep on rowing your boat..."
Fisherman is the first track on what´s definitely my favorite roots reggae album of all time, Heart Of The Congos (´77). Unreal vocals by Cedric Myton and Roy ´Ashanti´ Johnson, and an equally unreal production straight from the famous Black Ark studio in Kingston, Jamaica. This is arguably Lee ´Scratch´ Perry´s best work ever behind the mixing desk, and that´s saying a lot.
"Simon, Peter, James and John come ashore, to feed the hungry belly ones, so, row fisherman row, keep on rowing your boat, lots of hungry belly pickney deh ashore, millions of them."

Great song! A new one to me. Lee 'Scratch' Perry strikes again!
